BYLAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
The City of West Kelowna’s Bylaw Department is recruiting for relief, on call Bylaw Officers. The ideal candidates will not be seeking full-time employment but instead be comfortable with an irregular schedule on an “as and when needed” basis and able to work during the summer months.
- Grade 12 education plus completion of Bylaw I Enforcement certificate
- Minimum of 2 years experience as either a Bylaw or Peace Officer
- Class 5 Drivers License – Drivers Abstract will be required
- Criminal Records Check
The successful applicants will assist and be flexible with bylaw enforcement duties such as issuing Municipal Ticket Information fines, investigating complaints received from public to determine compliance with Municipal bylaws.
Applicants under consideration must have a valid Class 5 BC Drivers’ License and will be required to obtain the required Criminal Records Check.
These relief positions will be filled on an as needed basis.
